Distance education is one of the most important criteria of education; organizations believe that it has important role in human resource (HR) education. However, there are some challenges in implementing distance learning in the organisations' HRD (Human Resource development) departments. The current study seek to identify and rank the challenges that confront distant learners in organizations. In order to do so, a sample of 115 employees of Shahid Beheshti University in Tehran who attended virtual training through the last year were selected and engaged in the study. Reviewing the literature on e-learning challenges and critical factors, the main questions of a questionnaire were extracted and written. Analyzing the data has been gathered by those questionnaires, the final list of the intended challenges was identified, categorized, and ranked as following: Educational, Infrastructural, and Cultural challenges. The implications of the current study on how distance education can be properly used in HRD is also discussed and outlined in the paper.

The aim of this research is to evaluate the mathematical content of 7th grade math textbook from the aspect of how the content according to Anderson taxonomy of cognitive domains, concerns creativity, and finally analyzing considering the distribution of contextual problems. The method used is content analysis. The population is the 7th grade math textbook 2014-15. To validate the face and content validity of the study, views and opinions of some experts and math education teachers at university were used. For reliability, the percentage of agreement of three coders through Scott reliability coefficient formula was calculated and the reliability coefficient of 84% was obtained. The findings of this study indicate considering cognitive domains, the content has paid much attention to procedure knowledge, whereas analysis of the book according to mental processes and creativity models indicates that less attention has been paid to foster mental processes and high levels of creativity. On the aspect of contextual problems, little attention has been paid to the relationship between mathematics and the real life. It is essential that the authors and all who involved in education consider the level of thinking, age and prior knowledge of learners in preparing the contents to provide more opportunities for learners to grow in all aspects.

All over the world, many IELTS candidates still experience difficulty in mastering skills needed for academic writing. Collaborative writing in a wiki might be a good way to address this difficulty. Thus, the current study has investigated and compared the effectiveness of the single-author peer-editing strategy and the multiple-author co-authoring strategy in wiki. The participants were 20 male graduate and postgraduate students who had enrolled in an IELTS academic module preparation class. The study had an equivalent time series design in which the intervention period had six times: At odd times of intervention peer-editing was the strategy and at even times it was co-authoring. When peer-editing was the chosen intervention strategy for wiki writing, each participant created their own IELTS academic writing essay and at the same time edited the essays of their peers. For co-authoring tasks, all participants were required to co-write a coherent essay. A one-way repeated measures ANOVA was applied to compare the time series in terms of the effectiveness of interventions. The results revealed that the wiki group achieved greater improvement in their writing performance while co-authoring their essays. It should be remarked that the present study is one the first studies on identifying the most effective collaborative writing strategies in social networking systems, while most of the previous studies have addressed a comparison between collaborative writing instruments. The findings of this study might be a very crucial step toward the candidates’ success in international foreign language tests.

The use of ICT in education and training systems and the training program is active. The role of modern education for effective participation in the third millennium draws. This study aimed to assess factors affecting the implementation of mobile learning in environmental education programs. The research method was descriptive-analytic research is based on forecast. The population of students in Tehran during the 1394 school year. The stratified cluster random sampling was stratified, and ninth grade students from 12 area schools were selected randomly to 350 people. To collect data, a questionnaire was developed by Cheon and his colleagues. To determine the validity of the opinions of experts and Cronbach's alpha reliability coefficient was used. Data analysis was performed with SPSS and LISREL8.8. Path analysis results showed that all variables except the variable ease of understanding with attitude and independence of learning there is a significant relationship perceived behavior control.

The main goal of this study was to Comparison of Teachers’ Familiarity rate with Technology- Based Teaching Competencies in Smart and Traditional Schools in hamedan in academic year of 2014-2015 and used Survey research method. From (N=437) female teachers based on random stratified sampling 103 female teachers in smart schools and 102 female teachers is traditional schools were selected. For data collecting, a researcher-made questionnaire with 33 items based on Likert scale (5 = strongly agree, 4 = agree, 3 = average, 2 = disagree, 1= completely disagree) was set. The tool content validity was achieved by the opinion of eight experts in educational technology, and its validity according to Cronbach’s alpha was determined.82. Data obtained by descriptive and inferential statistics indicates that the smart school teachers’ familiar level with Technology- Based Teaching Competencies outperformed the teachers in traditional schools. Also smart school teachers, in terms of cognitive knowledge t=6/34, skills t=6/74, emotional t=6/34 and self-efficacy t=4/42, dominated the traditional school teachers.

This qualitative study investigates the process of learning verbs, as one of the fundamental aspects of learning Persian language, by PSL (Persian as a second language) Learnersthrough dynamic assessment and using new technologies which are in contradiction with the traditional approaches of teaching and assessment. In so doing, two Iraqi students of Razi University were subjected to a four-month enrichment program that captured their microgenetic development and involved using IMO which, as a realization of new technologies, provides its users with the opportunity of synchronized electronic communication. Results indicate that each learner upon receiving the right level of instruction and prompts moved along the continuum of mediation internalization to get closer to the self-regulation extreme which in turn denotes their social and cognitive development in their Zone of Proximal Development in using the target structures. That is, dynamic assessment via electronic communication equipped the researchers with an in-depth knowledge of each learner`s position along the continuum of other-self regulation which was followed by the appropriate level of instruction and led to his development. The findings of this study contribute to the area of second language teaching in general and Persian language teaching in particular.
