learning processes has become an important issue in the field of education around the world. According to the announced statistics, this is spreading rapidly and widely. e-learning, as the most prominent application of ICT, has added a new dimension to the primary and higher education, and the use of online resources has been successfully combined with education to facilitate teaching-learning activities. That is why in recent years, many organizations, universities and companies have started offering e-learning courses. e-learning is a wide range of application software and teaching methods including computer-based education, web-based education, virtual classrooms, etc. The present study aimed at investigating and identifying critical success factors of e-Learning to develop a comprehensive model for success of e-learning. Methods: The research approach was qualitative and the method was synthesis. The research population was all of the articles (85 articles) related to Critical Success Factors of e-Learning since 2007 to 2017 in accredited journals using specific keywords. The sample included 41 articles selected purposefully based on the theoretical saturation of data. The data were collected from the qualitative analysis of documents. Findings: Using analyzing data, Critical Success Factors of e-learning were classified in 3 dimensions, 8 factors and 52 indicators including structural dimension (organizational, support, system quality, content, and educational factors); behavioral dimension (learner, instructor), and environmental dimension (technology). The results of the data analysis led to the identification of Critical Success Factors of e-learning as a model. Conclusion: In this study, an attempt was made to analyze the documents and studies conducted on the key factors of e-learning success and identify the key factors of e-learning success, to provide a model for e-learning success. As the results of the analysis show, e-learning success factors include three structural dimensions (including: organizational, educational, content, support, and system quality); Content or behavioral dimension (including factors: learner and teacher); and the contextual or environmental dimension (including factor: technology). With a clear view, it can be said that examining and considering all the factors of e-learning success is necessary for its growth and development. Most of the studies have emphasized the importance of structural dimension in e-learning success, although behavioral and contextual dimensions are also essential for e-learning success. Therefore, e-learning centers should also try to identify the factors that may affect their success and, given these factors, ensure the success of e-learning. The findings of this study to some extent is capable of informing them of these factors.

Background and Objective:Human resources (HRs), as the most important asset of any organization, play a significant role in their goals, competition and success. Thus the training of human resources plays an important role to achieve the growth and success of any organization. Teaching and learning are performed by different technologies such as traditional education, distance learning, e-learning and the use of grid and social networks. Existing evaluation models of e-learning have mostly examined partially the educational outcomes, the employees’ efficiency and the impact of e-learning, Therefore, in this paper a comprehensive model is presented that models and evaluates the efficiency and cost of the organization and the time and efficiency of the personnel in the current and electronic methods. Methods:First, the relationships in the e-learning system were modeled and formally expressed with mathematical relationships, and then the simulation was performed, and finally the costs of e-learning were evaluated based on the simulation results. Findings: The obtained results by simulation show that e-learning system improves the HRs utilization by 15% and decreases the training cost of organizations by 18% in comparison to the common method. Conclusion: Waste of human resources in organizations reduces the efficiency of the organization, as for solving this problem in organizations and turn it into potential and increase the intangible assets of the organization, e-learning was proposed. Web-based e-learning system is a type of training system that uses a three-tier architecture under the Internet and increases the educational productivity of the organizations and in general reduces the waste of staff time, increases the efficiency of the organization and the amount of costs. It reduces the time spent on training, and in this way can reduce unemployment, leisure time and staff wastage through training under the computer network and mobile devices and the web, which are available everywhere and always at a low cost. It also converts the intangible capital of the organization and increase the expertise and capability of the organization. Common methods of modeling and evaluating the effectiveness of e-learning were examined. Most of these models only partially assessed the effect of education on learners' performance. Therefore, in this article, a comprehensive model was presented and evaluated both the efficiency and costs of the organization and the time and efficiency of personnel in the common and electronic methods. The simulation results using MATLAB software show that the number of trained employees and intangible assets in the web-based e-learning system increases more than three times compared to conventional methods. Training costs will decrease by eighteen percent and the efficiency of the organization's employees will increase by fifteen percent. Analyzing and evaluating network and cloud training is recommended for large organizations as future work

Background and Objective:In recent decades, every day we are facing new achievements in the applications of information and communication technology in the field of education and research. These new achievements have changed the expectations of education and research audiences from the level of services provided. Today, students and professors want easy and fast access to new scientific and research resources, interaction with each other in absentia, use of technology for better teaching and understanding, and in general, access to information and communication technology and its use for effect. Most of it is teaching and learning. To meet these expectations, universities and higher education institutions must continuously evaluate and equip themselves to achieve the desired level of access to and use of information and communication technology. The purpose of this research was to study the evolutionary trend of e-readiness assessment models with the approach of e-learning. Methods: For this purpose, the studies were examined by both qualitative and quantitative approaches. In the qualitative approach, by studying the articles in this field, the observed trends in these articles are compared with each other. Findings: In the quantitative approach, the latest articles are investigated based on important parameters such as the scope of application, the type of model used, the methods of data collection and analysis, the type of transaction reviewed in the article, evaluation indicators, sources used to publish the article, geographical concentration, the outputs of the study, the types of data used. Based on the results of the qualitative approach, 4 evolutionary periods, from national and one size fits all model with top-down approach to bottom-up approach with special purpose models, are identified. In addition, results of quantitative approach indicate that infrastructure, people and service are the most important factors in electronic readiness; and national scope has been investigated more than other areas. Most studies have quantitative approach with public service orientation for citizen transactions. Also, assessment, maturity and adoption models have been the most used fundamental models in the studies. Conclusion: Comparison of the three main parameters studied in most studies, namely infrastructure, people and services, shows that the rate of infrastructure review has been decreasing and the rate of reviewing people has been increasing, and services have maintained an almost balanced rate during this period. In terms of the geographical focus of the study, the readiness assessment is in the first place in the country and then the readiness assessment is in the province or state. The basic model used for evaluation also has several approaches, the first category is related to the use of preparation models and the next category is related to maturity models. Studies have generated different outputs and have about 18 types of outputs, among which the evaluation model, evaluation framework, effective parameters, current situation, relationship of indicators, strategies and guidelines have the most frequency. In terms of the type of data collected, quantitative data had the highest multiplicity, followed by historical data and finally qualitative data. In terms of data collection methods, the questionnaire is in the first place and the interview and evaluation of the existing documents are in the next rows. In terms of data analysis, categorization, descriptive analysis and strategic analysis have the highest number

Background and Objectives:E-learning is the newest form of distance learning and is called an approach to curriculum planning in which, in addition to using inclusive methods, computer tools and the Internet are used. The first generation of e-learning, or web-based learning programs, focused on providing physical classes based on educational content and the Internet. Today, many universities and educational institutions around the world have stepped in to design and offer e-learning programs and courses to meet the growing demand for education. One of the desirable features that can play an important role in increasing the efficiency and effectiveness of this type of training is the personalization of the learning environment according to the characteristics of learners. This adaptation is in order for the user to be able to benefit from the learning content and other services of the system according to their goals, knowledge and preferences, and the system, instead of treating everyone equally, treats everyone according to its own characteristics. The purpose of this study was to investigate the effective factors of e-learning adoption in agricultural higher education universities of Iran and to determine the most effective structures on the acceptance of this technology by the faculty members and graduate students. This research was performed to measure the acceptance using survey and the multivariate statistical technique of path analyses. Method and Materials: Statistical population of this research consisted of faculty members and postgraduate students in Iran’s higher agricultural education centers. Total Cronbach Alpha of the questionnaire, for the reliability of the 68 items of the questionnaire, was 88.5 % that is an acceptable figure which demonstrates the high reliability of the questionnaire. In total, 646 questionnaires were collected from 4 universities (Tehran University, Bu-Ali Sina University, Hormozgan University and Torbat Heydariyeh University). After multivariate statistical analysis ‘Path analysis’ and through calculating Beta Coefficients for different routes, the importance of each path was determined. Findings: The results showed that if members of the faculty and postgraduate students of higher education of agriculture in Iran get this reflection that the use of e-learning to carry out their educational activities is useful and reliable at higher agricultural education centers, even those people are not consistent with their subjective norms and have risks, they will continue to use e-learning. From the perspective of the respondents, e-learning is a safe and appropriate education. Therefore, possible risks in such training in virtual environments does not affect their attitude towards this type of training. Conclusion: Therefore, it can be said that if faculty members and graduate students of agricultural higher education in Iran come to the mentality that using e-learning to carry out their educational activities in agricultural higher education centers is "beneficial" as well as "reliable”, even if it is not compatible with their "mental norm" and has a "perceived risk", they will still use e-learning.

Background and Objectives:Universities play an important role in society. They are centers of innovation, attract and nurture talent, create and share new knowledge, and are of great value in the national and regional economies. Thus, declining government budgets and increasing global competition for qualified staff and students have led universities to provide better conditions for providing education in a variety of ways. On the other hand, communication technologies have paved the way for distance learning by offering new methods of education. Therefore, with the development of the Internet and multimedia technologies and their use in educational programs, a kind of educational model called e-learning has been created. In e-learning, due to the existence of the World Wide Web, all stages of education have benefited from what the Internet has provided. In the web space, a variety of features such as online class notes and lecture materials, dynamic online Q & A systems, classroom preparation for exams, games and real-life simulations for educators and learners are provided. In order to present and manage activities in the e-learning environment, a software program called Learning Management System (LMS) is used, which provides facilities for sharing educational materials, sending notifications related to each lesson, presenting and performing assignments, providing users with online communication with each other, conducting evaluations, and evaluating results. Accessibility is one of the important indicators in obtaining students' and teachers' interest in a courseware. Therefore, the present study aimed to identify the effective factors impacting on the accessibility of Shahid Beheshti University’s courseware. Method and Materials: Accordingly, a qualitative phenomenology research has been implemented. The population of this study is undergraduate students of the Faculty of Education and Psychology of Shahid Beheshti University in Tehran who had an experience of working with the courseware. 15 Participants were selected using purposeful sampling method. Semi-structured interviews were conducted for data gathering until the theoretical saturation was achieved. The findings were analyzed using Strauss and Corbin coding method at two open and axial coding levels. Findings: According to the findings from 15 interviews, six categories including: the weakness of quick access to the content of discussions, the lack of off-line access to the discussions, not suitable access to the content on multiple platforms, lack of ability to display online users, the weakness in access to discussions of the previous groups; and lack of student access to their performance results, were identified. Conclusion: The main result of this research is to highlight the importance of the "availability" indicator for learning management tools and systems and also to determine the factors affecting this important indicator. If the designers and implementers of learning management systems in schools and universities are interested in improving the management function of their curriculum, it is necessary to pay proper attention to these six factors. Processes and components in courseware need to be changed so that they can be "more accessible" to their stakeholders by considering the above six factors. These factors could help e-learning administrators and designers to provide a better and more qualified experience for their students and faculties.

Environmental monitoring for extraction of learner’s features and accurately learner modeling is a time and cost consuming task. This paper proposes a flexible framework using agent architecture capabilities in learners’ monitoring and also in optimization of Intelligent Tutoring subsystems interactions. In this research learner’s learning approaches have been recognized by learning style theory then their uncertainty has been reduced by Bayesian Network. This framework prepares recommendations by combination of learners’ learning style and learner’s abilities (that are computed by Item Response Theory (IRT)) for three groups: learners, tutors and system designer. The architecture of proposed tutoring system has been presented in three layers. In middle layer there are four agents that monitor learners, create learner’s model, update it and prepare some recommendations based on courseware features, learner’s abilities and his/her learning style. A study was conducted on 30 Computer Engineering students during one semester. The implementation of the proposed system on participants indicates an increase in all evaluation factors, for example it doubles educational success rate and learner’s satisfaction rate.

Information technologies have reshaped the interactions and creation of knowledge, and affected significantly the processes of acquisition and dissemination of knowledge in the society. The universities and educational institutions, as the main sources of production and communication of science, are to be gradually modified. There, the subject on which the higher education administrators should seriously concentrate is establishing the virtual universities and realizing e-learning there. This realization requires fulfilling the condition of different aspects, systemically called e-readiness. Tarbiat Modares University is of the ones who attempted, in recent years, to present master programs in different faculties via electronic media. in the first part of the paper, it is attempted to present an appropriate model for assessing its e-learning readiness based on the comparative studies as well as national experts’ views. Then a comprehensive analysis of e-Learning readiness experienced in Tabrbiat Modares University is presented here. It is noticeable that the proposed model is based on the specifications and localized features of the country and has the adaptability for application in assessment of e- learning readiness in other universities.

Nowadays e-learning has an important role as a collaborative learning environment in education. Obviously one of the most important challenges in e-learning is to produce appropriate learning contents for learners. One solution could be selecting and edit appropriate annotations being placed by learners. Due to the possibility of adding annotations to a specific learning content, exploiting learners’ annotations can help course author to improve his/her learning content. Regarding to concepts’ ontology and contents’ annotations, it is possible to edit certain contents in content hierarchy. Furthermore, it is possible to create learning contents by selecting high rated learners’ annotations and presenting them to other learners. Being an implicit method related content annotation that can be easily edited or removed are considered as the advantages of the proposed method of using annotations for editing contents. In this paper a framework for using learners’ annotations for selecting and editing learning contents in e-learning systems is presented. The details of annotations classification and method of rating annotations will be discussed. In addition, the proposed solution is tested and advantages of annotations are analyzed in order to produce feedbacks for authors and the conclusions are shown.

One of the important issues in a learning management system is the assessment of the learner’s knowledge level. In basic methods of assessment, questions are simply ticked by the learners, and then automatically scored by machine. In this sort of examinations, two problems may be raised. Firstly, the learner may answer and mark the questions accidentally by guessing the answer without having enough knowledge about the related subject. Secondly, he/she may slip in answering the questions due to his/her inattention, although he/she has enough knowledge about the related subject. In this work, an improved method for knowledge level assessment is presented. In the proposed method learning concepts are modeled based on the hierarchical construct of learning objectives, and the learner’s knowledge model is used to estimate his/her knowledge level. This model is established on the basis of Bayesian networks, and considering the hierarchical construct of learning objectives. To evaluate the proposed method, a set of questions by considering the learning objectives was designed and ordered into different levels of complications. Then these questions were used for assessments. In this work also a new algorithm for updating the nodes in a Bayesian network is introduced. By means of this algorithm the effect of guessing and slipping answers in an assessment is undoubtedly reduced. Finally, by presenting a model for knowledge and use of the hierarchical construct of learning objectives, an effective solution for three above mentioned problems of guessing answers, slipping answers, and the origin of wrong answers have been established.
