Environmental education and evaluation is one of the most important tools to preserve the human built and natural environment. This article presents an ecological pattern in sustainable settlement education with emphasis on the university campus landscape and architecture design. As the main assumption, the university architecture and campus landscape can influence the students' perception and behavior in relation to sustainable development. The educational built environment of the university campus-as a behavior setting- has an affordance to convey the sustainability concepts to the students. The paper reviews some case studies in Europe and attempts to introduce sustainable development education with university architecture and campus design in Iran. The article has resulted a conceptual pattern with some environmental design strategies in both architecture and landscape design disciplines. Green buildings design, campus landscape design with bioclimatic approach, design for public transport, cycling and walking and creating green and quality public open spaces with community buildings are of the main strategies in university campus design.

The main purpose of this paper is to identify and analyze different approaches in landscape architecture design and to propose a holistic human-environmental approach in relation to current issues of landscape architecture in Iran. For this purpose, first, the common goals and approaches of partialism in landscape architecture are introduced and analyzed. Then, the holistic model, based on the human-environmental approach to landscape design, is proposed in three areas of aesthetics, ecology and local community, and the role of each area in meeting the needs and flourishing human capabilities is explained. In the proposed approach, the perception of landscape architecture, products is the interaction between human (experimental) and environmental (spatial) dimensions. The human (experimental) dimensions of the landscape include strengthening the sense of place and belonging, spatial and mental reconstruction of man, defining public, semi-public and private realms, facilitating orientation and navigation in space, and inducing local identity, security, and desirableness. The environmental (spatial) dimensions of the landscape include the definition of places, routes, and domains, and the landscape designer must organize places (centers of origin and destination), routes (routes), and physical realms (ranges). At the end of the article, landscape design of Iranian city is considered as a case study and it is concluded that, considering the vastness of Iranian cities with diverse human-environmental landscapes, recognizing the perspective of Iranian city is essential as a prerequisite for landscaping.

Today, urban parks are an integral part of biological complexes and public spaces, especially in metropolitan areas, and play an essential role in meeting the social and individual needs of citizens. These spaces occupy a large part of people's daily time and environment, including children, and therefore the upgrading and enrichment of these spaces can be effective in personal growth, social interactions, strengthening the sense of cooperation and even educating citizens and children. Be. Due to the special characteristics of children's growth, health and safety, a part of the function of urban open spaces, including parks, is always allocated to children. Therefore, the preparation of urban open spaces, including parks, is of particular importance for children as citizens and future builders of the city. In this article, relying on the unique characteristics of children, as an important part of citizens, the necessity and importance of using the capacity of urban parks to grow their creativity is emphasized and in this regard, some of the principles and criteria of garden design Urban landscapes are presented in proportion to the rainfall and flourishing of children's creativity. Their participation in the design process of children's parks and play spaces is also suggested as one of the active and dynamic design strategies. In this regard, based on the research method of content analysis, some studies of children's creative development and the process of designing open spaces and urban parks have been studied and it is concluded that children's direct participation in creating their space, in addition to creating more desire to attend and interact. In the environment, the possibility of physical, mental, social development, talents and their creativity is also provided.

Open urban spaces and contemporary urban neighborhoods are not compatible with the physical and mental characteristics of Iranian male and female students. The per capita restriction of educational spaces in schools threatens the quantitative and qualitative limitation of contemporary residential homes and the prevalence of students' environmental lifestyle machine health patterns. Symptoms such as students' high dependence on horseback riding from home to school, construction of schools without desirable open spaces, expansion of apartment living and housing at least without yard and desirable open spaces, continuous TV viewing, excessive computer use, nutrition patterns Unhealthy and the prevalence of phenomena such as overweight and obesity, social avoidance and depression of some students are a confirmation of the problem of students' environmental health. In such a situation, improving urban environments and redeveloped spaces can be effective in changing some unhealthy patterns of students' perceptions and behaviors. The present article tries to introduce some of the planning and environmental design capabilities of residential neighborhoods compatible with the growth and physical and mental health of children and adolescents.Planning and designing pedestrian and bicycle paths from home to school, proper location and design of social schools, planning and design of access networks and connected local sidewalks, planning and design to prevent crime in the neighborhood, traffic calming And expanding neighborhood safety and tranquility, improving and developing neighborhood and neighborhood parks, designing beautiful local streets with environmental design and furniture and natural landscapes and rows of street trees, expanding mixed and diverse local uses and controlling average residential density to In order to increase the access to the services required by students and the socio-local interaction of students, practical solutions are suggested. Also, the development of specialized interdisciplinary research by programmers and environmental and transportation designers with students' general growth and health specialists is one of the proposed research fields.
