In this research, descriptive and surveying method is used to evaluate the quality of engineering training programs. The statistical society of the research consists of 130 engineers of AzarAb Company covered by training programs in 2012. Since the statistical society has a low volume, the whole society is considered as a statistical sample. Data was collected using Servqual standard questionnaire. The Cronbach Alpha coefficient was used to determine the reliability of the questionnaire and the obtained coefficient was estimated at 91%. To determine the validity of the questionnaire, the comments of several experts from industry and university professors were used and their recommendations and propose amendments were applied to the questionnaire. Data analysis was conducted by dual sample t test to identify the difference of each of the dimensions of the model. The obtained results show that engineers are not satisfied with the quality of trainings and that the provided trainings have not met their expectations.

Abstract:The present study deals with surveying the relation of organization learning and professional development of engineers. The study was conducted as descriptive-correlative work. Statistic society is comprised of 188 engineers of Electro System Fars. As the size of the society is not considerable, the whole society was studies as sample society. For data gathering two questionnaires for assessment of organizational learning and professional skills were used. To make sure validity of the questionnaire the experts were consulted. Regarding reliability, Cronbach’s Alpha was used. Reliability of the questionnaires was obtained 0.93 and 0.87 for learning and professional skill respectively. The data were analyzed regarding Pierson’s correlation and regression analyses and significant relation was found between organizational learning and development of professional skill. Regression analysis showed that organizational learning elements are significant predictor for develop of professional skills. Square sum of 0.476 showed that 47.6 of the distribution in the development of professional skills is determined by organizational learning

Surveying and identifying objectives are the first step to be taken in engineering educational programming, so that if carried out properly, a more objective basis for correlating educations with organizational needs will be achievable. In this article it is aimed to that using comparative- surveying methods find out training needs of engineers in Iran electronic industries company regarding technical, human and perceptional skills. Statistic society in this research is comprised of all engineers under training course between 2005 to 2009. Since, it is not feasible to focus on all individuals, 150 people were adopted randomly and asked to fill out a questionnaire. One hundred and ten questionnaires were returned. The questionnaire includes 30 questions, which are at 92% level of validity based on Chronbach’s Alpha that is the questionnaire has good stability. An information analysis was performed through comparative and deductive methods. Findings of the study illustrates that majority of engineers need more technical and perceptional training. In addition, our analyses showed that there is no meaningful relation between type degree, work experiences and authorities of engineers and required skills.

Proper training of hydrologists in the field of precipitation-runoff modeling can play a significant role in overcoming many flood problems. In this paper, after introducing the liquid analog model, it is established as a new analog model in the field of hydrology and based on the linear reservoir model. Its scale and laboratory construction are presented, and then how it is used to simulate the Nash precipitation model for a real basin. The effect of basin shape on the output hydrograph as well as the effect of precipitation direction on basin response has been investigated separately. The results of the experiments performed with the model indicate that the model is suitable in this field. Due to the simple structure, ease of use and visual quality of the model, this model can be a suitable teaching aid tool in the field of precipitation-runoff modeling training.
