تأثیر شبکه‌سازی واژگانی بر مهارت مکالمه دانش‌آموزان

چکیده

استادان و کارشناسان آموزش زبان انگلیسی براین باورندکه شبکهسازی واژگانی به بهبود دانش واژگانی و دستوری زبان آموزان خارجی کمک میکند که این به نوبه خود سبب تقویت مهارتهای تولیدی (گفتاری و نوشتاری) آنها خواهد شد. این تحقیق از طریق «طرح پیش آزمون- پس آزمون گروه گواه»¹ اجرا شده است. یکآزمون دو بار (در ابتدای اجرای طرح برای سنجش رفتار ورودی و در پایان برای برآورد اثر روش آموزش) در دو گروه گواه و آزمایشی اجرا شد. آزمون تیمستقل روی « نمرات افزوده»² نشانداد که تفاوت بین دو گروه معنیدار نیست. البتّه چون مشاهدات حاکی از آن بود که دانشآموزان گروه آزمایشی فعالتر بودند، شاید بتوان ادعا کرد که شبکهسازی واژگانی به زبانآموزان کمک میکند تا بیاموزند چگونه مطالب را در ذهنشان سامان دهند. علاوه بر این، با بالا بردن اعتماد به نفس دانشآموزان منجر به مشارکت بیشتر آنها در فعالیتهای کلاسی شد.

The Impact of Word-Mapping Technique on Iranian High-school Students' Speaking Ability

چکیده [English]

English professors and educators believe that word-mapping technique can improve foreign language learners’ vocabulary and grammar. Those, in turn, enhance the learners’ productive skills, i.e., speaking and writing. The present study, through the pre-test post-test control group design, attempted to examine the effect of word - mapping technique on oral production. To achieve the purpose of the study, one test was given to both experimental and control groups twice, at the start of the study to assess the entry behavior of the participants and at the end of the study to assess the effect of the treatment. The analysis of the gain scores, via independent samples t-test, revealed that there was no significant impact of using word –mapping technique on the learners’ oral production. However, since the experimental group members exhibited more enthusiastic participation during the treatment, it would not be strange to claim that word-mapping helps the learners organize the materials in their minds. Thus, it may promote the learners’ self-confidence thereby motivate them for active class participation.

توچه به موارد ذیل پیش از ارسال نامه به سردبیر لازم است در نظر گرفته شود:

[1]نامه هایی که شامل گزارش از آمار، واقعیت ها، تحقیقات یا نظریه ها هستند، لازم است همراه با منابع معتبر و مناسب باشند، اگرچه ارسال بیش از زمان 3 نامه توصیه نمی گردد

[2] نامه هایی که بجای انتقاد سازنده به ایده های تحقیق، مشتمل بر حملات شخصی به نویسنده باشند، توجه و چاپ نمی شود

[3] نامه ها نباید بیش از 300 کلمه باشد

[4] نویسندگان نامه لازم است در ابتدای نامه تمایل یا عدم تمایل خود را نسبت به چاپ نظریه ارسالی نسبت به یک مقاله خاص اعلام نمایند

[5] به نامه های ناشناس ترتیب اثر داده نمی شود

[6] شهر، کشور و محل سکونت نویسندگان نامه باید در نامه مشخص باشد.
